FA 3.12 – Information System (IS) Development, Information Assurance (IA), and Information Technology (IT) Support
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Center for Advanced Aviation Systems Development (CAASD) Program Office Support
ALC supports the FAA’s CAASD Program Office, supporting planning, integration, coordination, evaluation and oversight of the FAA’s Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) CAASD. The CAASD Program requires information management support in the areas of Web-site design, development, documentation and maintenance; data base requirements development, database design, documentation and maintenance; and automated records management and tracking. ALC maintains the FAA CAASD Program Website including periodical design refresh to address evolving needs, maintenance of linkages to key sites internal and external to the agency, and maintenance of content currency and accuracy. Refresh/redesign the site, as directed, to ensure continued compliance with evolving website standards and branding requirements. Develop database(s) based on requirements approved by the Program Manager. This includes database, design, development, testing/validation, user documentation, and database administration documentation. The database(s) may be either PC based or server-based to allow multiple users access. All databases include password-protected security access consistent with existing FAA, DOT and federal policy/regulations and standards.
FA 3.17 – Supply and Provisioning Support
DLA Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) Logistics Services
ALC provided support services to prepare long term, formal, simplified, and micro procurements to DSCC. Support also included contract administration (post award), technical/quality, supply and logistical support.
FA 3.18 – Training Support
Army Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM) Training Support
ALC supported the development of the Quartermaster (QM) Senior Warrant Officer Technical Course and QM Master Warrant Officer Technical Course for the CASCOM. Support included the development courseware to include training strategies; identification of required skills and knowledge; development of exams; course management plans; student evaluation plans; and training support packages (included Lesson Plans, Slides, Practical Exercises and handouts).

FAA CAASD Program Office Support
The FAA’s CAASD Program Office is the single accountable office for the planning, integration, coordination, evaluation and oversight of the FAA’s Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) called the Center for Advanced Aviation Systems Development (CAASD). The FAA established CAASD in order to address the long and short-term evolutionary changes. ALC’s support includes business/financial management, contracts management, program management, information management, and administrative support services to FAA’s CAASD PMO.
