Cherokee Information Services, Inc. is awarded two task orders to support the Federal Aviation Administration.
Cherokee Information Services, Inc. (Cherokee) was recently awarded two task orders to provide support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), issued under the Broad Information Technology Services II (BITS II) contract, of which Cherokee is a prime contractor. The scope of these task orders provide the FAA with acquisition support to the Air Traffic Organization (ATO), specifically its Acquisition and Business Services Unit (ATO-A), and its System Operations Service Unit (ATO-R). ATO is responsible for moving air traffic safely and efficiently. ATO-A is responsible for acquisition policy, contracting, and quality assurance services. It provides information technology services and human resource management services and it oversees flight services program operations, workforce development and controller training. ATO-R provides overall national guidance for air traffic procedures and airspace issues, traffic flow management for the National Airspace System (NAS), requirements for weather observation and reporting standards, and the focal point for daily ATO interface with Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) regarding air transportation security issues.
RTI International Team is awarded a TRICARE Evaluation, Analysis, and Management Support (TEAMS) contract.
Cherokee Information Services, Inc. (Cherokee) is part of the RTI International Team that was recently awarded a TRICARE Evaluation, Analysis, and Management Support (TEAMS) contract. TEAMS is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract that presents new and exciting opportunities for RTI and its team to assist the TRICARE Management Activity (TMA) and Military Health System (MHS) with Program Management Support requirements. In addition to providing support to TMA and MHS, the TEAMS contract vehicle can be used by other Department of Defense organizations, and the Departments of Veteran Affairs and Health and Human Services for joint initiatives that significantly or directly impact the MHS. The schedule is awarded for a base period of one year with nine one-year option periods.
Cherokee Information Services, Inc. (Cherokee) wins contract to support the United States Transportation Command’s (USTRANSCOM’s) Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC).
Cherokee Information Services, Inc. (Cherokee) was recently awarded a contract to provide the United States Transportation Command’s (USTRANSCOM’s) Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) with System Administration and Analysis Support Service for the Global Freight Management (GFM) System. GFM is the premiere system of the Defense Transportation System (DTS) for the movement of domestic freight within the Continental United States (CONUS), and within DTS. GFM enhances the national defense by supporting Department of Defense (DoD) shippers and traffic managers with highly available services in both peace and wartime. This four month base and four option year contract allows Cherokee to continue its support of USTRANCOM and SDDC which began in 1999.
